Introduction to Indoor Rowing Class for Beginners
DESCRIPTION
-
Learn to Row indoor class designed for individuals with no previous rowing experience.

We offer separate classes for youth 9+ years old, and for adults.
-
The class has total of six 1-hour lessons that run on Tuesdays and Thursdays over three weeks period.
-
For youth, 4 lessons are delivered on rowing ergometers and 2 in rowing tanks, while for adults is the opposite.
-
The focus is on learning and improving rowing technique, while building general fitness.
-
Lessons follow gradual and individualized progression from basic to more advanced rowing skills.
-
The class size limit is 16 participants.

Minimum enrollment requirement is 5 participants.

You can pick one of the four DS i2I-ROW classes between November-February.
They run on Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 PM.

Indoor Rowing Class for All with Some Previous Experience
DESCRIPTION

Indoor Rowing Class designed for individuals who already have some previous rowing or indoor rowing experience.

We offer separate classes for youth 9+ years old, and for adults.

EXCEL I-Row XT
Indoor Rowing & Cross-Training Class for competitive rowers
DESCRIPTION
-
This class is designed for competitive High School rowers.
-
It offers workouts in rowing tanks, on rowing ergometers, and HIIT resistance workouts.
-
The focus is on improving rowing technique, aerobic & anaerobic endurance, and strength & power.
-
The class has 4 modules.
-
Each module runs for 3 weeks, and has a total of twelve 2-hour workouts (4 workouts per week).
-
Each module has a training program with specific short-term goals. There is a logical progression between the modules that all fit together and make a comprehensive unit with the main goal of getting ready for the 2K sprints in the spring season.

The class size limit is 32 participants.

The class runs from November - February, and has 4 modules.
Each module has 12 workouts that run on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6-8PM or 7-9PM.

Rowing Tanks Class for competitive high school rowers
DESCRIPTION

There are two modules; The first one runs during November-December, and the second during January - February.
Each module is 6 weeks long, and has 2 classes.
Classes run on Wednesdays from 6-7 PM and 7-8 PM.

EXPLORE XC SKI
Cross-Country Ski group training
DESCRIPTION
-
Cross-Country skiing for all levels and ages.
-
This is a group 90 min training where you can learn new skills, improve your cardio, meet new friends, and have fun.
-
Class is dependent on local snow conditions.
-
You need to bring your own equipment: skis, poles, and boots.

SCHEDULE
When local snow conditions are good for cross-country skiing, we open registration for this class, and send out a newsletter with an announcement.
The class usually runs on weekends.
​
LOCATIONS

We ski on the groomed golf courses in North Chicago Suburbs, or around Skokie Lagoons.
